Jon Mihic wrapped up a solid season with the Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes with a first-team all-star selection.
The junior outfielder from Langley was named to a first team all-KCAC (Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference) all-star.
Mihic finished second on the team with a .394 batting average, and was tied for the team lead with a dozen doubles. He also had 39 RBIs in 48 games.
The Coyotes (37-17) season ended on Saturday with a loss to Lubbock Christian at the 2011 NAIA Baseball national championships.
A win would have advanced them to the NAIA World Series.
Mihic had two hits and an RBI in a losing cause.
The team won both the league’s regular season and post-season titles.
