American golfers Chad Campbell and Michael Thompson shared the after two rounds at the RBC Canadian Open heading into action Saturday at the Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club in Vancouver.
Campbell followed up a first-round 1-under-par 69 with a 3-under 67 to sit at 4-under 136. Thompson had opening rounds of 70-66.
Vernon’s Chris Baryla, who is battling to regain his form after recovering from hip surgery, missed the cut after firing 74-72 to sit at 6-over.
Baryla, 28, managed five birdies over the opening two rounds, but carded nine bogies and one double-bogie to fall out of contention.
Fellow Canadian Mike Weir pulled out of competition Friday after aggravating an elbow injury.
