The annual Cowboys vs. Indians Hockey Game for charity is coming up over the holidays in Williams Lake.
Always a fun, light-hearted tussle between the two sides, teams will be lacing up their skates on Friday, Dec. 28 with the game beginning at 5 p.m. at the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex.
Funds raised are going to a local charity to be determined at a later date.

“The Cowboys won last year,” said Cowboys player, local bull rider and one of the event’s organizers, Ryan Jasper.
“I think that’s the first time we’ve ever beat them, so we’ll be looking to keep the momentum going this year with another win.”
There will be a youth game during the intermission for players 10 years and under to entertain fans during the break.
Admission to the game will be by donation.
