Bighorn Bow Hunters Archery Club members from 100 Mile House were in Prince George, competing at the Silvertip Archers Annual Indoor 3D Shoot, Feb. 11-12.
The event drew 112 shooters and saw 100 Mile archers earn some of the top results.
Adrian Messner was a first-place winner in the Men’s Masters Traditional competition, and denise swift was first in Women’s Traditional.
Yak Crame took second in Men’s Masters Traditional, and Sandra Pickering was third in Women’s Recurve.
Allen Pickering grabbed third in Men’s Recurve and was also the spot shoot cash winner. Shooters had to hit a sticker that had been placed in the high score ring of one of the furthest targets in this competition.
“It was a good opportunity [to promote and practise for] our local club’s upcoming 3D shoot”, says swift.
On March 17-18, the local club will host the Bighorn Bow Hunters Archery Club A&W 3D Shoot at the 100 Mile Agriplex. The event starts at 9 a.m. each morning.
