The Williams Lake Atom Development team swept a tournament in Lumby last weekend to capture gold.
The team won all five games they played and earned their first place finish with a 8-0 shutout over the Winfield Warriors in the final.
“It was a dominant performance over five games as the team scored 43 goals for and only allowed three goals against,” said Clay Palmantier.
“The boys have been enjoying a very successful season so far and are representing our community and hockey as fine young ambassadors.”
Next up for the team is a tournament in Fort St. John Dec. 8-10.
