After stumbling out of the gate with two straight losses, B.C.’s Jim Cotter is back in the thick of the battle at the Tim Hortons Brier in Saskatoon.
The Vernon/Kelowna foursome won its fourth straight game at the Canadian men’s curling championship on Tuesday morning with a 7-3 victory over Northern Ontario’s Brad Jacobs.
Leading 4-3 in the eighth, Cotter put the game away with a three-ender.
The B.C. rink, which also features third Kevin Folk, second Tyrel Griffith, and lead Rick Sawatsky was scheduled to play Brad Gushue of Newfoundland/Labarador in Tuesday afternoon’s draw.
