On Feb. 3-5 the Clearwater Bantam Hawks team hosted an eight-team tournament, with teams coming from North Delta, Quesnel, Williams Lake, Lillooet, McBride/Valemount and TCMH – a new team with players from Ashcroft and Clinton.

Games started on Friday at 4 p.m. and did not finish until 2 p.m. Sunday with Clearwater taking the first place trophy, beating Lillooet 6 – 1 in the final.

It was a great weekend of hockey and fun was had by all. Several of the teams had never played in Clearwater before. Organizers hope this opens the door for more teams to come to Clearwater to play in our tournaments.
