Barriere girls win bronze in U18 Netball Championships

The Zone 2 Okanagan Netball Team hosted the U18 Netball Championships at Barriere Secondary School on April 2 and 3.

Nine teams competed for the title, arriving from Burnaby, Vancouver, and Calgary. Barriere competed with a junior team, a senior team and an alumni team.

The Barriere Zone 2 Senior Team worked hard for the bronze medal, and will be going to Burnaby on May 7, 2011, to compete in the High School Championships.

Barriere team members Lydia and Trice Tuaiti have been asked to go to the Provincial netball try-outs in Vancouver.
