Well done and thank you to the over 2000 volunteers who have spent the past many months preparing for the Mission 2014 BC Winter Games.

The BC Winter Games were a first for the District of Mission and those of who took the time to meet, train and host, can now sit back and celebrate, brag and smile at your collective success. Whether a business contributing significant resources, or a volunteer committing to a shift, collectively you showed the rest of B.C. that you could do it. As you counted on your neighbours in Abbotsford, Langley, Hemlock or Maple Ridge, you also counted on each other to ensure the best and brightest athletes and coaches from across B.C. had a memorable time on the shores of the Fraser River.

Revel in your good work and after some significant rest and reflection; consider strongly furthering your new found volunteer skills and confidences by once again volunteering to benefit the District of Mission. Thank you once again!
