While Linden Hora wraps up his final BCHL season with the Chilliwack Chiefs, 17 year old defenceman Spencer Hora is just getting started.

The younger brother of Chilliwack Chiefs forward Linden Hora has been named the most improved player for the Salmon Arm Silverbacks.

Seventeen year old Spencer Hora saw his first-full time action this year, logging 54 games for Salmon Arm.

While the teenager didn’t dazzle offensively (54-1-6-7), he showed enough for the Silverbacks to believe he’ll be a key player on the blueline moving forward.

Not a big D-man at five-foot-10 and 165 pounds, Spencer looks like he may have picked up Linden’s knack for taking penalties, accumulating 51 this season.

He’s still got a ways to go to catch his bro in that category though. Linden collected 91 PIMs in 51 games this year.
