The Columbia Bible College women’s basketball team announced a four-member recruiting class on Tuesday which will join the program this fall.

The incoming Bearcats include Skye Sealy, Katie Stalin, Jessica Funk and Sarah Rozendal.

Sealy, a 6’1” forward, served as an assistant coach with the Bearcats women’s hoops squad last season under head coach Tamara Larson. A former standout at Mission Secondary who broke scoring records during her time with the Roadrunners, Sealy has committed to a four-year program at CBC, facilitating a move from the bench to the court.

Stalin, a 5’11” guard/forward from Bellingham, Wash., is a versatile player who is capable of shooting from outside or scoring off the dribble. She also boasts a tremendous work ethic and is a strong defender.

Funk is joining her sister Vanessa on the Bearcats roster. A high-scoring grad of Calgary Christian Secondary, Funk boasts versatile offensive skills and is an intelligent defender.

Rozendal, a graduate of Stelly’s Secondary in Victoria, is another player with three-point range on her shot. She’s coming off spending a year abroad with YWAM (Youth With A Mission).
