The Beaver Valley Nitehawks beat the Fernie Ghostrders 3-2 on Friday in overtime to clinch the Neil Murdoch division title, then skated to a 3-3 tie with the Castlegar Rebels to end the KIJHL regular season Saturday.
Beaver Valley begins their playoff run on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Beaver Valley Arena against the Nelson Leafs who finished in fourth place in the Neil Murdoch division. The second seeded Rebels will play host to Grand Forks.
