The Terrace Rod & Gun Club hosted the 2016 Mountain Bike Biathlon competition on October 15.
Although a smaller group of participants than in previous competitions, the athletes demonstrated improved racing and marksmanship skills.
In the category for ages 9-10, first place went to Josiah Peden. Joseph Cote followed in second place. Nate Cote finished in third place. J
oseph actually had the best bike racing time, but, unfortunately, he had the only missed target (a 15 second penalty) in the 9-10 year old group.
This put him five seconds behind Josiah in the race results. In the ages 11-12 category, Ryan Corrie won.
Pavlo Schooner came in second.
Irma Schooner finished in third place.
The Rod and Gun Club would like to thank the participants, volunteers, and parents for their time and efforts.
They also thank all the local businesses that donated prizes and helped support our event.
