A man from Prince George caught a 10’7″ sturgeon on July 24, hooked near Hatzic on the Fraser River and landed on the beach just below the Mission Bridge. This was Dale Wilson’s (right) first experience sturgeon fishing, and he was guided by Lang’s Fishing Adventures, which is based out of Vancouver. Wilson hooked into the monster fish on the third day of his three-day trip. According to guide Lang Nguyen, it took Wilson three hours and 45 minutes to land the fish. In this photo, Wilson stands with his niece Jillena Woolsey, and friend James Doerksen.
