Last week in Quesnel Sponsor League curling action, Sky-Hi Scaffolding took on the team from Redz Shedz in what at first looked like it would be a close match, as the teams traded points early on. However Sky-Hi would score five in the fourth end and and steal three in the fifth to put the game out of reach for the Shedz, winning 11-1.
The Child Development Centre (CDC) team seem to be making good on their new year’s resolutions, as they made shot after shot in a game against Century 21, who just couldn’t seem to make a sale. The CDC won the game 6-1.
The Billy Barker Casino team came out strong, taking the lead early against Quesnel Lawn Care (QLC).
However, the team from QLC wouldn’t go down easy, fighting to tie the game at six apiece in the eighth. But Billy Barker would prune the QLC comeback short, winning the match 8-6 in the extra end.
Service Electric and Team Brenda Ernst found themselves locked in a tight battle, trading point for point end after end, tied 2-2 after five.
