Have breakfast and talk baseball with rising Toronto Blue Jays’ star Brett Lawrie while boosting the Okanagan College athletics department.
That’s the idea behind the Coyotes fundraiser, Thursday, Oct. 27 from 7-9 a.m. at the Coast Capri Hotel.
Lawrie, a dynamic third baseman from Langley, exploded onto the Major League scene earlier this year.
“His early success provides a great example to other young B.C. athletes and is a reminder of the rewards that come with hard work and dedication,” said Okanagan College athletic director Rob Johnson.
Tickets to the Coyotes fundraising breakfast are available at a cost of $100 per person or $750 for a table of eight.
