Bodyslams, dropkicks and high-flying excitement will take over the K’omoks Band Hall (3320 Comox Rd, Courtenay) on Saturday, April 29 as an all-ages PWA Live Pro Wrestling event comes to town.

Pro wrestlers from all over Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland will take part in a night that will feature six big match-ups.

One man who will not have to travel far is Comox’s Christian Kingdon. Christian is a student at the Pro Wrestling Academy in Campbell River who recently returned from a soul searching trip of Thailand. The youngster truly embraces PWA’s Stars of tomorrow, shine today motto.

Christian’s opponent will be none other than long-time foe Haviko — the masked cruiserweight who can fly, but who also loves submission-based wrestling. Both men will try to steal the show in this featured bout.

Aside from that match fans will also see:

Pure Wrestling Champion and Campbell River’s own E.O. Mike Becherer takes on Cremator Von Slasher;

BC Champion TJ Harley defends against Sayward’s Nolan James;

Krofton takes on Nathan Legacy;

PV Champion Riea Von Slasher defends against Law Siddartha, Scott Steel and BJ Laredo in a four-corners match.

Tickets on sale on day at the venue, $15 general admission and $10 for 12 and under.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Bell Time.
