The Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League playoffs return to Pearkes arean Monday night as the Saanich Braves host the Kerry Park Islanders for Game 3 of the first round best-of-seven series.
Puck drop is 7 p.m.
The Islanders evened the series at one win apiece with a 5-3 victory in Kerry Park on Saturday. The Braves routed the Islanders 6-1 at the opener at Pearkes on Friday.
Braves captain and VIJHL MVP Nick Guerra scored twice on Friday but was held off the scoresheet in Saturday’s loss.
Game 4 is Tuesday night in Kerry Park, Game 5 on Thursday at Pearkes and Game 6 (if necessary) at Kerry Park on Saturday (March 2).
