Bruins beat Spokane in second game of season

A day after losing their season opener to 100 Mile House, the Grand Forks Border Bruins Junior B hockey club bounced back to beat Spokane.

Defenceman Lincoln Lane scored the winning goal for the Bears at 7:24 of the second period assisted by Max Newton. Also scoring for GF were Keven Moreau, Josh Gladman, Jeremy McGregor and Newton, who finished with a goal and four assists.

Bruins face Castlegar today (Sunday) at 2pm at Jack Goddard Memorial Arena for the third and final game of their three game home stand.
