Tier 3 playoffs start this weekend for the Van Isle Ford Midget Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs got in some exhibition and wrapped up league play in preparation for the event.
The Bulldogs played exhibition game against Cowichan on Jan. 24, and played against Comox in an away exhibition game on Jan. 25.
On Jan. 18, the Bulldogs hosted Saanich, whom they lost a close game to 4-3. Ryan Rae Arthur opened the scoring with an assist from Dave Friel, and Blake Sexton.
The the second goals was scored by Friel from Ethan Sundstrum, and Cody Beecroft.
The final Bulldogs goal came from Brock Elder and was assisted by Brad Cowan.
On Jan. 19 the Bulldogs lost 6-4 in an away game against the Victoria Racquet Club team.
The game wrapped up Tier 1 league play. Beecroft opened the scoring with an assist from Josh Harvey, Beecroft also scored the second goal unassisted.
The third Bulldog goal came from Friel with Harvey getting his second assist, Cowan scored the fourth Bulldog goal assisted by Friel.
