Bulldogs set for spring season after biggest Bighill camp

Cowichan will field atom and junior bantam teams this spring

After hosting their biggest spring camp ever, the Cowichan Bulldogs are preparing to kick off their football season this weekend.

The camp with Canadian Football League star Adam Bighill drew 77 players to McAdam Park last weekend, from all over Vancouver Island.

Registration remains open for the spring season, with atom (players born between 2009 and 2011) and junior bantam (2005-2006) teams being fielded. Visit www.cowichanfootball.com for more information.

The 2019 spring season will open on the road this weekend. The junior bantams will play their first home game at noon on April 6.
