Lakes District Secondary School (LDSS) rugby teams travelled to Smithers for a tournament earlier this month. The LDSS junior boys won two games against Smithers while the senior boys tied two games, also against Smithers. The boys finished the day by winning a senior/junior mixed game against Smithers while the LDSS girls, who were playing in a tournament for the first time, joined players from Smithers, Houston and Vanderhoof for 15-a-side games. Garrett Lambert and Mathieu Hopegood stood out by scoring seven tries each over the weekend.
