Seven Bulkley Valley Biathlon athletes travelled to Prince George on March 5 and 6 for the Biathlon B.C. Provincial Championships, also classed as the B.C. Cup 5 and 6 events, winning a number of medals.
In Saturday’s Individual races, Liam Tweedie finished with a silver in the 4 km Midget race. In the Juvenile 5 km race, Amanda Wilson took the bronze, with Ben Kinkela close behind in fourth. In the Junior Boys 6 km race, Angus Tweedie took the bronze, with Cody Askew following in fourth place. Emma Cuell finished fourth in the Junior Girls 6 km race.
In Sprint racing on Sunday, Askew took the gold in the Junior Boys 4 km, with Angus Tweedie winning the silver. In the Junior Girls 4 km, Cuell finished with a silver. In the Midget 2.3 km, Liam Tweedie won the silver.
