The Campbell River Storm is on a 10-game winning streak following a trio of victories this weekend. On Sunday, Campbell River beat the Peninsula Panthers 8-3, following Saturday’s 7-2 win over the Comox Valley Glacier Kings. The only close call was on Friday night, in a game against the Victoria Cougars – the Storm’s South Division rivals. That game ended with a 2-1 score after Campbell River’s Kyle Jennings netted an overtime goal. The Storm currently holds the top position in the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League.
