The Aquanauts worked hard and swam well in Colville, Washington this past weekend. It was a fun week, and the hard work that the athletes put in over the past two weeks was evident. The Aquanauts swam 44 best times, and had 23 athletes at the meet, the coaches Doug Van Ek and Wren Shaman were pleased with the attendance and the performances of their swimmers. Some of the most notable swims of the weekend were: Adyson Maida-Bergner, 50 backstroke, -10 seconds, Keegan Zemp, 100 backstroke, -11 seconds, Grady Rodgers, 50 brushstroke, -6 seconds, Simon Laroque, 50 breaststroke, -4 seconds, Ethan Marshall, 200 IM, -13 seconds, Ethan Lawczynski, 50 freestyle, -1.5 seconds. The Aquanauts placed third overall in the meet, with 1129 points.

Colville was the last regular season meet of the summer and the Aquanauts not begin preparing for the Regional Championship which will be help in Trail on August 4/5th. We are excited to see all the hard work of the swimmers presented and the championship meet, where swimmers will have the opportunity to move forward to the provincial championship.
