The Castlegar Rebels suffered another overtime loss Friday, falling 7-6 to the Kimberley Dynamiters.
The Dynamiters were up 2-0 midway through the first period before the Rebels stormed back on goals by Darby Berg, Ben Anderson, and Justin Duguay to make it 3-2.
Kimberley tied things up early in the second, but Berg put the Rebels ahead 4-3 on an unassisted shorthanded goal.
Kimberley evened the score again by the end of the period.
The teams traded goals in the third, with Brenden Skerratt and Tyler Soobotin scoring for Castlegar, but the Rebels unable to hold on to 5-4 and 6-5 leads.
Finally in overtime, Brock Palmer scored for the Dynamiters.
Berg finished the night with two goals and an assist while Bo Cornell and Jaedon Little each had a pair of assists.
Ethan Lawczynski made 32 saves in net for the Rebels, whose record slipped to 6-8-0-0. They are three points back of Grand Forks with three games in hand.
Castlegar can get revenge against Kimberley on Friday when they host the Dynamiters at 7 p.m.
