Brookswood drops TBI championship game at Langley Events Centre

The Brookswood Bobcats senior girls basketball team fell 61-44 to the Oak Bay Breakers in the finals of the Tsumura Basketball Invitational on Sunday afternoon.

The eight-team tournament was held at the Langley Events Centre, Dec. 5 to 7.

The ‘Cats had beaten the Little Flower Academy Angels 76-43 in the opener and the St. Thomas More Knights 67-40 in the semifinals.

Brookswood had defeated Oak Bay in the 2014 B.C. provincial senior girls Triple A championship game back in March.
