It’s officially ‘Championship Saturday’ for the Abbotsford Police City Basketball Tournament, with division titles being handed out all day long at Columbia Bible College starting at 9 a.m.
The Grade 9 girls final opens a day full of basketball action, with the Abbotsford Traditional Secondary School Titans battling the Robert Bateman Timberwolves.
The Grade 9 boys final is next, with the W.J. Mouat Hawks taking on the Abbotsford Panthers at 10:30 a.m.
The Abbotsford Middle School Huskies then challenge the W.A. Fraser Falcons in the Grade 8 girls final at noon, with the Huskies playing the C.G. Howe Bulldogs at 1:30 p.m.
The Yale Lions match up against the MEI Eagles in the junior girls final at 3:00 p.m., and the Lions take on the Rick Hansen Hurricanes in the junior boys final at 4:30 p.m.
The senior girls final sees Bateman square off against Yale at 6 p.m., while the senior boys final features the Panthers and the Hawks facing off for bragging rights beginning at 8 p.m.
