Chilliwack Chiefs Harrison Blaisdell and Kevin Wall each picked up a point in Tuesday night’s CJHL Prospects Game, a 5-2 win for Team West over Team East.
The game was played at the Pason Centennial Arena in Okotoks, Alberta with more than 200 collegiate and pro scouts watching.
Wall picked up the primary assist on Team West’s second goal, setting up Layton Ahac (Prince George Spruce Kings) on a three-way passing play that also included Quinn Olson of the AJHL Okotoks Oilers.
Blaisdell hit the scoresheet on the fourth Team West goal, a power play marker where Blaisdell set up Luke Bast (Brooks Bandits) for a one-timer.
Blaisdell also picked up a two-minute roughing minor, mixing it up with Brodie McDougall (OJHL Cobourg Cougars).
Team West out-shot Team East 37-27, with Ahac earning Player of the Game honours for Team West.
Team West has now won three straight CJHL Prospects Games, and nine of 14 since the inaugural match in 2006.
