Chilliwack Chiefs the top BCHL team in Canadian Junior Hockey League Top 20

The Chiefs are up to No. 13 in the weekly ranking of the top junior A teams in Canada.

The Chilliwack Chiefs rose another notch in the Canadian Junior Hockey League’s latest Top 20, which was released Monday morning.

The Chiefs are up to No. 13 nationally after being ranked No. 14 last week.

The only other BCHL team on the list, the Penticton Vees, fell one spot from No. 16 to No. 17 after dropping a Sunday afternoon road game in Nanaimo.

There are no BCHL squads getting honourable mentions either.

As they’ve done all season, the Alberta Junior Hockey League’s Brooks Bandits hold down the top spot in the rankings. They’ve won 19 straight games, sport an overall record of 43-4-0 and have not lost since Nov. 27. The Bandits are followed on the list by the Thunder Bay North Stars (Superior International Junior Hockey League) and the Oakville Blades (Ontario Junior Hockey League).
