Chilliwack’s Mathew Lamb tied for ninth in the championship bracket at the Pitt Meadows Classic.
The Vancouver Golf Tour event was played Saturday at the Pitt Meadows Golf Club.
Lamb was one of 19 amateurs teeing off in the top bracket, where he shot a seven-over-par 79.
He started well with birdies on one and three, but over the next 14 holes he carded four bogeys and three double-bogeys.
He finished with a birdie on 18.
Three players tied for top spot with matching even-par 72s.
One notch below in flight A, the Chilliwack Golf Club’s Min Hyeong Kang finished fifth with a low-gross 13-over-par 85.
