Clearwater Carpet Bowlers are pleased to announce the donation of $750 to three recipients this year.
The recipients of $250 each are the Clearwater and District Food Bank, Evergreen Acres for their new building fund, and Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
The moneys raised from a yearly $5 membership fee to the $1 per bowling day are donated to local groups. The $1 fee gives members two games with a coffee break thrown in. For non-members it’s a $2 drop in fee.
Carpet Bowling is held at the Evergreen Acres Hall on Mondays and Thursdays at 1 p.m. and goes to about 3 p.m.
