Club champions named at WLGTC

The Williams Lake Golf and Tennis Club hosted its annual men's and ladies' club championships on the weekend.

It was back-to-back golf championship wins for Williams Lake’s Jordan Siegmueller on the weekend at the Williams Lake Golf and Tennis Club’s annual club championships.

Siegmueller took the top spot at the Central Interior Classic Aug. 4-6, also at the Williams Lake Golf and Tennis Club, then followed it up with a two-round score of 145 over the weekend to win the men’s overall low gross.

On the ladies’ side it was Jeri Jensen shooting the overall low gross, while Lisa Kerley claimed the overall low net championship.

For the men overall low net went to Hugh Gage, who shot a two-round 136.

• Ladies 0-14 low net: Mabel Cornwall

• Ladies’ 15-19 low gross: Krystal Ross

• Ladies’ 15-19 low net: Marcia Paquette

• Ladies’ 20-plus low gross: Annette Belsher

• Ladies’ 20-plus low net: Sharon Atkinson
