AJ Cooper fired an impressive seven-under par in the two-round Granite Pointe Men’s Club Championship and Sue Moisey earned the Women’s Club Championship title last weekend in Nelson
Cooper got off to a hot start with a Thursday round of 68 that included an ace on Hole 4. With defending champ Jeff Langin chasing, Cooper worked his way to a 69 to secure the two-stroke victory.
Fred Thompson was impressive in capturing the net title on the men’s side and Cathy Fuss took home the low net for the women.
