Courtenay freestyle skier Dillan Glennie reached the podium at the recently completed Canada Winter Games in Red Deer, Alta., albeit while skiing for another province.
Glennie competed for Team Alberta, where she trains.
She finished with the silver medal in the halfpipe event.
Her 89.8 score in qualifying was the single highest posted score of the competition.
Glennie’s 68.6 in the finals put her in second place, behind Alberta teammate Emma Morozumi, who posted a 72.4 on her second run.
The two were tied heading into Morozumi’s second (and final) run
Glennie also placed fourth in the slopestyle event, and eighth in Big Air.
Next up for Glennie is a trip to Mammoth in California to compete in a NORAM event, before finishing her season with two events in Quebec.
