On Monday, March 7 the Coyotes defeated the Summerland Steam in a 6-2 decision in Osoyoos.
The game is the second in the Junior B division finals.
In the first period the Steam scored on a power play at 13:10. The goal was scored by Jarret Malchow and assisted by Braden Eliuk and Cole Williams.
TheCoyotes responded with a short handed goal at 7:20, scored by Carter Shanno and assisted by Ryan Morell and Colin Bell.
The Coyotes added another goal at 4:38 when Judd Repole scored, assisted by Ryan Morell and Drew Carter.
In the second period, the Coyotes scored their third goal at 12:42. The goal was scored by Bobby LaRue and assisted by Rainer Glimpel and Colton Rhodes.
The Coyotes extended their lead at 5:41 with another goal by LaRule and assisted by Glimpel and Braeden Tuck.
The fifth Coyotes goal came at 3:55, once again scored by LaRue. Colton Rhodes and Tuck assisted.
The final Coyotes goal came on a power play at 16:16 in the third period. The goal was scored by Drew Carter and assisted by Repole and Reid Wilson.
The Steam’s second goal came at 6:50, scored by Gale and assisted by Malchow and Eiluk.
