The Spring League open men’s soccer had its final game Tuesday in Campbell River. The four-team league consisted of three teams from Comox and one from Campbell River. It ran for two months.
The final had a local team, Top Notch, playing against the CR Kids. The latter won 3-1.
Of note, the Top Notch team had an average age of 41 while the CR Kids had an average age of 23. Top Notch did extremely well considering the age gap – something the team should be proud of.
