Creston Valley curlers head to B.C. playdowns

The Doug Bothamley team from Creston will represent regions 1 and 2 in the BC Provincial Masters Men’s Curling Playdowns...

The Doug Bothamley team from Creston defeated the Ralph Will team from Sparwood in the Kootenay Regional Masters Men’s playdown held in Sparwood on Feb. 4 and 5.

The team made up of Doug Bothamley (Riondel) as skip, Laddie Pavlis (Wynndel) as third, Vern Ronmark as second and Ross Gowan as lead earned the right to represent regions 1 and  2, the east and west Kootenays, in the BC Provincial Masters Men’s Curling Playdowns to be held in March 1-4 in Grand Forks.

The Will team had represented the east and west Kootenay regions from 2008-2011.
