The Salty Dog festivities start next week.
On Friday, May 9, the Shuswap Bike Club is having a mountain bike movie-night fundraiser, $5 at the Salmar Classic, doors open at 6 p.m. Two movies, Arrival and Where The Trail Ends.
On Saturday, May 10, it’s the Salty Street Festival in downtown Salmon Arm, a great day of activities, bike events and a free concert featuring Roots and Blues festival favourites, Five Alarm Funk.
On Sunday, May 11, it’s the annual Salty Dog Enduro Race on the South Canoe trails. More than 700 riders, plus another 700 to 800 people will be at the event, most of whom will be visitors. South Canoe Trails will be used from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the event.
