About 100 hundred cyclists took part in the Wix Brown 6.5-km road race in the Township on March 8.
The race was part of the Spring Series 2015, a series of 10 races held throughout Langley, Aldergrove and Abbotsford.
The series has reached its halfway point.
First and second place in the men’s division of the Thunderbird Road Race, March 21, went to Nigel Kinney and Gregory Christian, both of Langlois Brown Racing, with times of 2:57:12 and 2:57:13, respectively. Third and fourth were Jay Lamoureux and Dylan Davies of Trek Red Truck Racing, with times of 2:57:19 and 2:59:04, respectively.
Kinney and Lamoureux were also first and second, respectively, at the March 15 Aldergrove East Road Race, while Lamoureux and Davies were first and second at the March 22 Aldergrove Long Road Race.
The Escape Velocity Spring Series Thunderbird Long Road Race takes place April 4 at Thunderbird Show Park.
