The Victoria Shamrocks have announced that offensive powerhouse Dan Dawson will be returning to the club in 2015.
Dawson, a 6’ 5” 33-year-old originally from Oakville, ON, played for the Shamrocks in the 2005 – 2007 seasons, where he led the club to a Mann Cup victory in 2005,.
He had a productive 3 years with the club, racking up an impressive 284 points in 68 regular and post-season games.
Dawson has 4 additional Mann Cup rings with Brampton in 2002, 2008, 2009 and 2011, as well as 2 Champion’s Cups in the National Lacrosse League (2013, 2014), and is a 7-time NLL ALL-Pro selection.
“He’s a proven winner who one day will be remembered among the all-time greats in our sport,” said General Manager Chris Welch. “In addition to tremendous skill, he brings intelligence, experience and outstanding leadership qualities to our group.”
