Children born in 2001 and 2002 won’t want to pass up the chance of a lifetime to ski and ride for free with the Grade 4 & 5 Snowpass.

The program is sponsored by the Canadian Ski Council and entitles pass holders to as many as three free lift tickets for each of the participating ski areas.

In British Columbia alone, it can be used at 35 different locations. Local participating ski areas include Mt. Timothy, The Hills Health Ranch, and in the Kamloops area, they include Sun Peaks and Harper Mountain.

The only cost is an administration/delivery fee of $22 for regular mail delivery or $35 for Xpress Post rush delivery.

All that’s needed is a wallet size print photo or jpeg photo of the child, which will be printed on the pass and a copy, or jpeg photo of a current Grade 4 or 5 report card, last year’s Grade 3 or 4 report card or birth certificate for proof of age.

Application can be done by mail or over the Internet and provisions for both can be found on the Internet at www.snowpass.ca.

Application forms can also be found at SportMart, SportChek, Sports Experts, Intersport stores and at elementary schools.
