A dozen athletes will be representing Langley when the Canada Winter Games get underway in Prince George.
Nine athletes from Langley, a pair from Aldergrove and one more from Fort Langley are on the Team B.C. roster.
The competition runs Feb. 13 to March 1.
Representing Aldergrove will be sisters Amy and Sarah Potomak, who are skating on the girls’ hockey team.
And Langley’s Jordan Hollett and James Malm are on the boys’ hockey team
Jack Kosterman of Fort Langley is on the wheelchair basketball team and will be joined by Langley’s Ben Garrett and Benjamin Hamilton.
Also attending the Games from Langley are Leo Goldberg (judo), Sarah MacDonald (ringette) and Seung Min Park (short track speed skating).
Jessica Auton and Brian Ng as well as Surrey’s Brooke Ashcroft are on the target shooting team and all three are from the Langley Rod and Gun Club.
And a team from the Langley Curling Club, skipped by Cloverdale’s Tyler Tardi and coached by Paul Tardi, will also be at the Games.
Sterling Middleton (Fort St. John), Nicholas Umbach (Coquitlam) and Timothy Henderson (Victoria) make up the rest of the curling foursome.
