Nelson’s Dryden Hunt has been named the WHL’s player of the month.
The Moose Jaw Warriors star had nine goals and 15 assists in 14 games during January.
Hunt, a six-foot, 201-pound forward, has 32 goals and 44 assists in 52 games during his fifth season. His league-leading 76 points are one more than Brayden Burke of the Lethbridge Hurricanes.
