Future champions took to the ice earlier in the day at the Champions Hockey School at Trail Memorial Centre on Monday, while an immensely talented collection of about 40 players go head-to-head in the evening scrimmage which pits CHS instructors Connor Jones team versus the Kellen Jones squad. The collection of talent is impressive with the Jones twins and Travis St. Denis of the AHL Bridgeport Sound Tigers getting an opportunity to scrimmage with former Trail Smoke Eaters and Beaver Valley Nitehawks and current NCAA and College players like Scott Davidson, Jake Lucchini, Craig Martin, Dallas Calvin, Tallon Kramer and Brett Clark, in addition to current and future Smoke Eaters and Nitehawks during the Junior Prep Camp.
