Qualicum Beach’s Brayden Eriksen was back at it this week at the Connor Richey Legacy Fund tournament held at the Sunshine Coast Golf and Country Club, his second professional tournament in the Vancouver Golf Tour.
Eriksen, who finished in second place in his first tournament as a professional golfer, followed that up with a seventh place finish at the Connor Richey tournament.
This marked the second straight tournament that Eriksen finished in the money ($1,800 in his first and $75 in his second) and also earned another 700 merit points (2,700 total) in the Vancouver Golf Tour standings.
With only three tournaments left in the Vancouver Golf Tour, Eriksen will continue to look for tournaments and tours to take part in across the globe, looking to continue his fine play in the professional ranks so far.
“That’s the plan,” Eriksen said. “We’re always looking, keeping our eyes open to try and find the next tournament or tour to go after. There’s lots of options out there in the world and its just matter of finding one that feels right.”
