Several Falcon gymnasts capped off their competitive season with personal bests and podium finishes at the 34th Garden City Invitational meet.

The 39 Falcon gymnasts who took part in the meet at the Panorama Rec Centre in North Saanich combined to bring home 57 medals along with 34 top-10 finishes.

Saanich’s Inez Verdun (JO level 7) was among three Falcon athletes to first all-around in their level and age categories, picking up gold on bars, silver on vault and bronze on beam and floor. Kiana Pfeiffer took silver in all-around, after winning gold on vault and floor. Abby Stamper (JO level 8) earned silver on the vault, while Jordon Reilly (JO level 6) picked up silver on bars.

Soleia Ouldali (JO level 4) placed silver all-around after earning gold on floor, silver on bars and bronze on vault. Lara Solomons won bronze all-around, scoring bronze on both bars and beam. Julia Widdowson also picked up a bronze all-around for her age category, with a silver on floor and bronze on vault. Giselle Rachert earned silver on vault and bronze on floor. Riley Arsenault  won the Most Dynamic Vault award.

Gabriela Tsui (JO level 3) finished with the silver all-around, earning gold on bars and floor and bronze on beam. Keira Callet took the bronze all-around for her showing that included gold on the vault and bronze on floor. McKenzie Shera (JO level 2) took the bronze medal for all-around to go with gold on beam and a bronze on vault. Maile Chow picked up a gold on beam.
