Friday was rugby day in Abbotsford as 450 athletes competed in 95 games at the annual Abbotsford Rugby Football Club’s 7s middle school tournament.
The Fraser Falcons dominated the event, winning the Grade 8 and Grade 7 boys and girls divisions. The Grade 8 boys final saw Fraser defeat Stafford, while the Falcons beat Chief Dan George in the Grade 8 girls final. Fraser also took down Clayburn in the Grade 7 boys final, while the Falcons beat Yorkson Creek in the Grade 7 girls championship.
