The Kamloops Royals defeated the Sicamous Angels 10-3 in the final game to go undefeated through the annual Sicamous Ladies Fastball Tournament.

Sicamous was the only team to score a run against the strong Kamloops team. The final placings for the tournament are as follows: First: Kamloops Royals, Second: Sicamous Angels, Third: Kelowna Outlaws, Fourth: Ridge Meadows Pink Energy

Sicamous Angels made it to the final game with a thrilling come-from-behind, extra inning win over the defending champion Kelowna Outlaws.

Chelsey, from Salmon Arm, drove in the winning run in the extra inning with a two-run double. Sicamous pitcher Bianca Dewitt came in to close out the game in the bottom of the extra inning, striking out two Kelowna batters and getting the last out with a ground ball to the shortstop.

The Angels played four games back to back on Sunday, defeating Maple Ridge, Vernon and Kelowna to reach the final. The event was run over the weekend at Finlayson Park.
