It was Father and Son night at Crown Isle for Gentlemen’s Night on Tuesday, July 19.
Jason Andrew opened #1 with the LD-12 for Bill Anglin, Re/Max with son Max Andrew right behind winning LD+13 for McDonalds. The family followed up with Jason knocking his 2nd shot KP-12 on #2 for Thrifty Foods with Max knocking his close at +13 on #2 for the Head Shed. Max then went KP+13 on #4 for Assante Capital and Jason went KP-12 on #7 for Sean Sweeney, Barristers. That took care of 25 per cent of the prizes.
Roger Bruggen-Cate won the “Blind Draw” for Budget Blinds, and on #5 won 3rd shot KP+13 for Scotia MacLeod/Russ Keil. We then had John Davis winning the “longest putt” on #5 for Finneron Hyundai; John also was closest to the “250 yard magic circle” on #8 for BMO Nesbitt Burns. Bob McCusker won the Burger on #6 for “closest” to the White Spot Restaurant. Bob also won a sleeve of Pro-V1’s for KP+13 on #7 for Sean Sweeney.
Draw prizes were won by: Russ Keil for Joke of the Night (not to be repeated); Neil Havers won for Hartman Auto Supply; Dennis Dixon won for Dave Wheeldon; and Brad Gough won the Sleeman’s.
For the balance of our prizes we had: Doug McIntosh “closest to the Mustang” on #3 for Westview Ford (thanks Casey); On #3 no one was double bunkered tonight;
On #4 Matt Hamilton was KP-12 for Sean Sweeney (another sleeve, thanks Sean); on #5 Jayson Welsh won the “any eagle” for the Eagle Radio 97.3FM; on #8 Gary Morton nailed the “150 yard magic circle” for Brian Rice Toyota and Terry Cox hit the “200 yard magic circle” for Mike Hamilton Logging;
On #9 Jayson Davidson hit his “2nd shot” closest to Art Meyers House Royal LePage; on #12 Thomas DelaRey won “KP everyone” for Jim’s Clothes Closet. Finally, Peter Day won the “hidden hole” with a nine on the par 4 third hole.
